qalbrawan: Dr. Wageeh El Sheemy, the first blind person to ever be in the Egyptian parliament. When this picture circulated a few days ago with captions like “They’re falling asleep on the job” I jumped to the conclusion that these people aren’t any different and they don’t care about being there. I misjudged and jumped to a conclusion and I deeply regret it. May Allah forgive me and I have very high hopes for Dr. Elsheemy.
